DJ Turner performs for Senator Clinton

To all,

DJ had the privilege to perform for Senator Clinton and other dignitaries at a Washington, D.C. fund-raiser on Tuesday. The event was held to raise funds to build a public library to honor Marian Wright Edelman, president and founder of the Washington, D.C. based Child Advocacy organization called the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF). Don't Forget August 12th !!! (Jazz Brunch 11:00 AM to 2:00PM) We hope to see everyone at the Sunday Jazz Brunch at the Beat Street Station for the inaugural fund-raiser for the Vewiser Turner Sr. Youth Jazz Education Foundation. “Jazz at Cliveden” Outdoor Festival

& the Clef Club Youth Ensemble

Cliveden of the National Trust invites you to attend their annual, “Jazz at Cliveden Jazz Festival as part of their ongoing preservation of America’s oldest art form. On Sunday, July 22, 2007, on the Cliveden estate, bring a chair or blanket, some food and some friends to enjoy an afternoon of great jazz. This year’s menu features legendary jazz organist, Ms. Trudy Pitts, vocalist, Joanna Pascale and the next generation of talented musicians, the Clef Club Youth Ensemble under the direction of Lovett Hines.

Entrances are on Cliveden Street and Germantown Avenue.
A donation of $5.00 is required to gain admission and vendors will be on hand to share their wares.
