Valray Productions has convened some of Philly's most talented Jazz Divas for her 6th Annual "Songstresses Celebrating Sisterhood" event. Divas Micha`l Beckham, Nina Bundy, Sherry Butler, Denise King, Monnette Sudler and Pearl Williams will be celebrating with Ms. Valray ... Jazz and Blues at it's BEST!This event honors the memory of some of the music's greatest women performers and has become a fixture in the jazz community. This year's event is on Saturday, April 8, 2006 and will be hosted at The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz on The Avenue of the Arts.
This year's honoree Ms.TRUDY PITTS is a composer, a teacher, a mentor, an intellectual, a uniquely charming individual and a "Bright Moment" for me.
