Tyrone Brown CD reviewed in Jazz Times

Philly has much love for this very bass-ly brother! :)

Ty decided to use one of my photos (shown) for the cover of his second music book, "Bass Works". The same shot was also used in the "Jazz Times" magazine March 2006 issue in connection with the review of his CD, "Suite for John A. Williams", a tribute to the author.

You can purchase the CD at http://www.dreamboxmedia.com/tyronebrown.htm

Tyrone is a very thick fibre in the fabric of Philly's jazz community!

Show your appreciation! PYL (Post Your Love)

I dig you brother Tyrone Brown.

I recently discovered that you were on that landmark recording with Grover Washington, Jr. "Live At The Bijou."

Keep up the great vibration that keeps this music in Philadelphia and around the world.

P.S. I've been listening to several Catalyst CDs recordings recently. Talk about some cookin' sessions!

TYRONE,

YOU WERE MY INSPIRATION. MY REAL GIGS WERE WITH YOU, TONY WILLIAMS, EDDIE GREEN AND AL JACKSON. OH, AND DON'T FORGET WHEN YOU CAME TO MY SON'S SCHOOL. THANKS FOR GIVING BACK.

THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES.
