Kevin Valentine has emerged from the ranks of professional employment pursuits to satisfy that smoldering artistic yearning to bring his "Velvet Swing" stylings to the ears of Philly's culturally inclined. Over the next few months he will be exposed at several popular venues including Ortlieb's Jazzhaus (April 30th) and the Philadelphia Museum of Art (June 12th). In a recent PJB interview, Kevin provides insight into his approach to the music. He has been adopted by Philly and is carving out his niche in the local music scene. He talks about upcoming performances and his plans to grow and contribute to the renaissance of the male vocalist.
